Art des Bieres: American Pale Ale
A Contemporary style IPA with an Irish twist. Combining the balance of European IPAs with the generous dry hopping of American pale ales (APAs), this beer is everything an IPA should be and more.
Zesty and refreshingly bitter, the finish is long. With a copper toned body topped with a lightly carbonated head, the dry hopping brings an intense aroma and lasting array of fruit and floral notes.
While the origins of the IPA style might be a cause for argument, there
is no argument about magnificent flavours and aromas to be found in
our Irish Pale Ale (IPA).
The hops steal the show in our take of an India Pale Ale.
An astutely chosen combination of malts and wheat produce a
full body and generous mouth feel. The late kettle hop additions
including the Amarillo hop form the basis for the vibrant and
zesty aromas found thereafter. A final dry hopping stage post boil
really cranks up the level of fruity hop aromas that are enjoyed
by all lovers of the IPA style.
